Constructed of cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and non magnetic vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from an oblong plate, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a A Type
