Saxe-Altenburg, Duchy. A Bravery Medal, C.1918 Archive 1938 and served as part(Tapferkeitsmedaille). Instituted 20 February 1915. (1918 1919 issue). Constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte, overlaid by a central Saxon coat of arms, flanked by a date of 1914, topped by a royal crown, the reverse with a raised monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 06 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
