Egypt, Kingdom. An Order of the Nile, IV. Class Officer, c. 1920, by Lattes Newly Listed George VI GRI (dated 1943(Nishan al Nil). Instituted in late 1915 by Sultan Husain Kamil. A fine french made example of this order, consisting of a 10 pointed silver gilt star with multi faceted rays and a white enamelled star with a raised central inlay in blue enamels, suspended from a small Royal Crown and swivel ring from its period original ribbon featuring a large rosette, unmarked, measuring 54. 3 mm (w) x 53. 5 mm (l), weighing 42. 63 grams.
