A nice hand turned ceramic mug by the North State Pottery of Sanford North Carolina

It measures 10" tall

Each tiles measures 6" square and nearly 3/4" thick

Excellent condition with some scattered nicks on the edges and traces of mortar on the back

This vintage hand decorated tile was made by Fritz Hudler (1889-1982)

It is a Persian inspired flourish of a milkweed pod covered in an engobe green slip. These were made to be grouted into plaster walls and become one of the decorative elements of the house. It is unsigned as are most of the old original antique tiles made by this company. Measures 5" x 3". Traces of mortar and white calcium.
